Distance is pain.
Closeness is joy.
Distance is separation.
Closeness is belonging.
Distance is alienation.
Closeness is community.
Distance is leaving behind.
Closeness is coming closer.
Distance is fading memory.
Closeness is shared moments.
Distance is a cold empty space.
Closeness is warm hugs.
Distance is loneliness.
Closeness is healing touch.
Distance is being unknown and a stranger
Closeness is being well-known and a friend.
Distance is never being at home.
Closeness is enjoying the warmth of home.
Distance is continuous grief and death.
Closeness is life.
Jesus died in distance from his Heavenly Father, so we could live in the closeness of his home.
Some needs to be willing to be distanced so others could find their way to home.
Mark 10:29-30 Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.”
