Our Origins

The Lord Always Starts Small

In 1994, we got connected with the National AIDS coordinator in post-communist Hungary, Dr. Dénes Bánhegyi. He asked us to help prevent the HIV/AIDS epidemic by designing a character-building program for educators and youth experts.

We shared our firm conviction that a relationship with Jesus is the true solution to youth crises (promiscuity, drugs, alcoholism). The program we designed had to build upon that truth. Though he was not a believer, he agreed, opening a massive door of influence.

Global Expansion

From One Nation to 62

What started as a small mustard seed behind the Iron Curtain transformed into a global movement. We developed a three-volume, 1,000-page teacher manual featuring 57 classroom lectures, 27 readings, game collections, and media assets.

YTL is now fully accredited by the Ministry of Education in Hungary. Over 8,000 educators have been trained at our weekend symposiums—80% of whom were non-believers hearing the clear Gospel for the first time.

Remarkably, 75% of these educators showed the Jesus Film in their classrooms. Consequently, over 750,000 Hungarian students watched it through YTL, and the curriculum is now active in 62 countries worldwide.

Public Partnership

Partnership with the Government & Police

Alongside the police and the Presbyterian Church, we launched the "Contrast Exhibition." The program began with massive press coverage, television news features, and support from political and religious leaders.

High school students (ages 14-18) were required to attend the exhibition as part of their school activities. We ran seminars and trained educators on why they should allow Christian values to be promoted in public classrooms.

In a short two-week span, we shared talks with 4,000 students and 300 educators. This generated further opportunities, including teaching YTL university courses for credit and distributing 5,000 copies of our family life preparation strategy to schools.
