After 50 years of life and ministry in Hungary, God called us to leave behind everything we knew, everyone we loved, and the structures we built. We accepted the greatest missional challenge of our age: addressing the rapid decline of Christianity in the United States.
Serving as the Executive Director of Cru Church Movements USA, Gábor leads efforts to multiply healthy, multiplying spiritual movements and plant local churches. We train leaders, build partnerships, and mobilize churches to reach their cities.

We have 135 staff serving in 81 cities across 27 states.
In 1994, we collaborated with the National AIDS coordinator in post-communist Hungary to design a character-building and relationships manual. Built on the firm conviction that a relationship with Jesus is the true solution to youth crises, YTL grew into a 1,000-page, three-volume manual accredited by the Ministry of Education.
What started as a small mustard seed behind the Iron Curtain transformed into a global movement. Over 8,000 educators have been trained, and over 750,000 Hungarian students watched the Jesus Film in their classrooms through YTL.
"We own nothing but our story—and that is the greatest treasure we could ever have. It’s what we must guard, and somehow enrich." Most of Gabor's childhood memories revolve around sickness and abuse under communist rule, but this is a story of healing, recovery, and overcoming the limits of the past.
It's not the suffering in my story that should never have happened, but the healing.

God has blessed us with three beautiful children, Rahel, Renato, and Gergo. Raising them was an absolute joy! Our daughter, Rahel, is married to Daniel, and they have Clara, our first grandchild.
Currently, our family is scattered across three different countries on two continents—a daily, tangible reminder of the cost of serving on the mission field, but also a testimony to God's expansive care.
